out the old bearings when it has spacers in them?

Hi. Is there a way to remove the bearings from a wheel without the special tool? thanks jason

To take the bearings out of your wheels:

  1. Take the wheels off your skates (of course).
  2. Each wheel has two bearings and a spacer (plastic or metal), between the two bearings.

  3. To get the bearings out, you have to push on the spacer, which will push the bearing out the other side.
  4. Since the spacer has the axle hole in it, you have to find something that is slightly larger than your axle bolts. They sell various tools that are just the right diameter for pushing out the spacer. You can also improvise with a large bolt or something similar.
